Change of Command

Calling all crew of the intrepid USS Enterprise:

As you all may or may not know Frankie and Mike have stepped down as Commanding Officer and Executive Officer respectively. A call went out for their replacements and Cliff and myself decided to answer the call. I, Robert, have taken over command of the USS Enterprise with Cliff as my Executive Officer.

The wheels are turning behind-the-scenes as Cliff, Frankie, Mike and myself are working to have the Change of Command happen IC and happen in a logical manner, so please bear with us as we get everything into place.

I look forward to working with every single one of you in my new roll and moving forward with the sim. We will not be doing a clean slate. It was suggested but I know we have put time and effort into the characters we have created, myself included, and to try to take us back to square one would be rough.j Also the way we are going to move forward will give us an interesting first plot.

As soon as the PLOT LOG goes out it will signal the official relaunch. Please read it, reread it and read it one last time because it will outline the IC change of command. We will get the plot log out, and as soon as that happens a starter will go out for us to get to work on.

I just wanted to keep you all posted as to the fact there is stuff going on right now in preparation. Thank you for the opportunity to command this fine ship, and this fine crew. To quote a former Captain of this ship: "Let's make sure history never forgets... the name...Enterprise."
