| Physical Description | Standing on the tall side of average for a Stenellis female, Lina is otherwise a well proportioned and ideal specimen of her species. She has a delicate and incredibly expressive face. Across her entire body, she sports a relatively heavy smattering of bio-luminescent spots/freckling that noticeably light up in dark environments. There's no set pattern to these spots and while those spots are quite bright, they offer nothing in the way of environmental lighting, cannot be used to illuminate a room, and are self limiting in that capacity. Worthy of note is the fact that the irises of her eyes are also mildly luminescent. Lina does sport several large round scars between her shoulders, across ribcage, small of her back, right hip, and upper inner right thigh from a near fatal attack by an Apshan Ivcomy Squid; a large deep water species of volatile squid. These scars are extremely luminescent and slightly upraised in a 'keloid' fashion. Like the majority of her species, it's worthy of note that Lina is capable of a violent bio-electric response in both an offensive and defensive position. This trait is particularly lethal to copper-based life forms such as Vulcans and Romulans. Skin to skin contact is necessary in order for this discharge to occur. |

| General Overview | Relatively easy and outgoing, Lina is a notable curious creature that seems to be both excited and humbled by the wonders of the universe outside of the Stenellian territory. While she's traveled to Cardasia and home worlds of other species woven within the mighty Ascendancy, the chance to work within the Federation and be exposed to new technology and sciences gives the xeno-biologist a thrill. There isn't much that bothers Lina, and that leaves her as a steady and relatively unflappable young woman that is more than capable of achieving her goals and completing tasks within her wheelhouse and beyond. | |

| Personal History | Born in the provincial city of Justifall to Rai and Kiel Ai'Xen, leaders of the the esteemed house Ai'Xen; a name synonymous with science and medicine within the Stenellis Ma'raydio caste, in the year 2394. Lina is the youngest of the Ai'Xen children, but among the most tenacious and this is often accredited to the fact that she is the product of a Makta woman marrying into a Ma'raydio house. Her tenacity made her a very adventurous, though studious, child who dominated the field in both academics and sports well into her coming of age celebration and now into her professional career as a xeno-biologist. At the age of 22, Lina sustained life threatening injuries as a result of a chance encounter with an Apshan Ivcomy Squid during an exploration of a dormant volcanic vent and search of a suspected new and unidentified species of crustacean. The encounter would have proven fatal had it not been for the interference of three other scientists that worked to fight the creature off and return Lina to the surface where it was decided to have her moved to Aliene for emergency treatment. Lina healed exquisitely given the amount of tissue that was lost in the attack, but a series of upraised circular 'keloid' scars exist across several areas of her body and the cold tends to exacerbate remaining mechanical issues left in the wake of a shattered pelvis. Pushing herself to succeed in the face of physical adversity, Lina threw herself into her role as a Scientist and subsequently earned several accolades up to and including catching the eye of Empress Xue'Daio Nox tr'Verelan who chose to select her for the honored role as one of a few Stenellis to be loaned to Starfleet on an officer exchange program. |
