Personality & Traits
| Personal History | He was born on Earth in a very strict and fundamental Bajoran household, and never met his father. It felt like he spent most of his childhood in the temple, and in his early teens he got curious about the life he'd been missing out on. His desire for independence clashed with his mother's expectations, and they soon found themselves butting heads regularly and a resentment toward religious obligations began growing with him. He was not allowed to move away from home until age 17, and at that point he was desperate to put some distance between himself and his family. He spent his first few years living with friends, and working wherever he could. He proved to be intelligent, resourceful, funny, and charming with a disarming naivete about him. He made new friends easily, and discovered the late-night party life where he quickly took to drinking, among other things... He was 27 when he enlisted in Starfleet, mainly looking to find a permanent job that would keep him away from the some of the things he'd been doing. |
