General Overview | In general Valok is an easygoing guy, but can be intense at times. He typically spends a lot of time off duty trying to meet other people and learn about other cultures. | |
Strengths & Weaknesses | Being half betazoid and half vulcan, has some of the mental abilities of both species. He is slightly telepathic and empathic. He also is learning to control his mind during mind-melds, which he usually has slight difficult performing. | |

Personal History | Valok was born on Vulcan to his Vulcan mother T'Kel, and Betazoid father Rav Larel. As a child he had a bit of a hard time adjusting to his blended nature. With help, he was able to learn to find balance, but at times finds it difficult. After attending standard school on Vulcan, he went to the University of Betazed where he graduated with a degree in cultural anthropology and xenobiology. He spent a number of years as a researcher at the University of Betazed, then applied for Starfleet Academy. |
