Personality & Traits

General Overview Boisterous and Outgoing, blatant and honest.
Balman has a way with people, and is comfortable as either the center of attention or in wallflower mode.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths
Powerfully built and somewhat agile, enjoys Ancient Earth style Kick Boxing, and Yoga.
Experienced and practical engineer, with the ability to think on his feet under pressure.

Weaknesses
Being very open and honest leaves him vulnerable to those that would take advantage of him, it also affects what he expects from people. Occasionally he forgets that not everyone wear's their heart on their sleeve, or is forth coming with information. This most often comes off as naive, and has earned him the nickname Puppydog.
As with all Bolians, close contact and intimacy can result in less than desirable effects on the other party, due to the caustic nature of Bolian blood and physiology. This can cause issues in close quarters and limits his usefulness on long term away missions.
Ambitions No lofty goals in mind, happy to follow life's path and earn his place among the stars.
Hobbies & Interests Ancient Earth Airships
Trying new foods

Personal History Fairly unremarkable past prior to service in starfleet.
Did attend starfleet academy but felt the itch to get to space before finishing and took a non-commissioned post, leaving behind great marks in the academy, a loving human girlfriend, and a battery of baffled instructors who never saw it coming.
Service Record A competent Engineer, he earned his officer's rank for time served in the reserves and non-commissioned duty for the first ten years of his career.
