Alyssa paced outside of Mark's office as she pondered everything. Her talk with Ricky had made her think a few things over.. but was it enough? Could she do what she needed to do? She glanced to the thee PaDDs she was holding in her hands and sighed softly. Something had to be done... one way or another. She rang the chime to his office.

"Come," said Mark having switched PaDDs pertaining to the medical supplies that was being taken on board.

Stepping in, Aly looked to the Captain a moment. Emotions swirled within her green eyes as she took a couple slow deep breaths to try and keep herself under control and respectful. "I have a few things I need to discuss with you, Sir... if I may do so freely."

"By all means Lieutenant," said Mark point towards an empty chair.

"If you don't mind Sir, may I stand?" Aly said, still to riled up to sit still for long. She moved and offered him one of the PaDD's. "This man..." The PaDD was a somewhat jacket for Ricky Alessandro. "would like to be able to find himself a place on Enty, I told him I would talk to you and give you my recommendation."

Handing him one of the other PaDD's she took a deep breath before speaking. "This one, is my resignation."

"I accept the first and will look it over, I do not accept the second," said Mark looking to the standing.

"Sir...I don't think I'm a good fit here. I can't do my job if people want to balk every time I turn around. Even the Chief of Intel doesn't want to work with me. Everyone wants to clam she and Thelin are innocent of everything but no one wants to show me the proof. And if you think she's innocent then why is she even locked up Sir?"

"I need to think she is innocent," said Mark. "If she really is a traitor, then the wool was pulled over everyones eyes but the problem is there is so much evidence that not locking her up would have been irresponsible and dangerous."

She moved and handed the third PaDD over to Mark. "That's a report of the talk I had with Scarlet. Basically she had nothing to tell me, or chose to tell me other than the reason she didn't want to talk to me about Thelin before was because they hadn't talked to you about their relationship. Oh... and claimed you knew everything and had seen documentations" She paused a moment before continueing.

"Oh, and there is a report about my talk with the Commander Rinehart also."

Mark paused a moment looking at the 4th PaDD she passed him. He looked up making eye contact with Aly, "What the hell is going on here? We can't seem to get along anywhere? We are going to tear ourselves apart," he sighed.

"I have no clue... you would think people would want to help someone that they claim is innocent. But no, it's being fought every step we go." She paced a little before looking to him. "I need access to the files intel has. If we can clear Thelin's name then maybe we could clear the Doctors and chalk her mess into this all to simply her being unreasonable." She paused a moment and looked at him. "Something needs to be done, Captain."

"I am going to speak with the Doctor," said Mark. "I suppose throwing her in the brig may have been a hasty discussion on my part. But none the less, she has to be held accountable for her disobeying of orders."

Aly didn't say anything, who was she to question the Captains order. At least in this mess. After all, at the moment everyone was blaming her for the doctor being in the brig, so the less she had to deal with the woman, the better for her. "I'll leave the monitor on like before Captain."

"I will speak with our Executive Officer, but I will be down after that talk, if that is alright Chief? If things don't get sorted out in the next few days, we can talk about your resignation, understood?" asked Mark taking a few notes on his PaDD.

"Aye Sir. In the meantime, do you think you might be able to get me access to those Intel files. For some reason my clearance isn't high enough."

"By all means," said Mark. "Just don't get yourself in trouble. But I can tell you this, some of that stuff I dont even have access to it..."

"I just want the stuff on Thelin, same stuff they said you have seen. And then I'm going to talk to him." Aly said as she looked to Mark. "I won't get into anything else."

"Understood, thank you Chief," said Mark.

"Thank you Sir... and sorry to come to you with all this, but I needed help and you were the one I figured could get it for me...." There was a slight smile. "If nothing else, I have work to do."

"As do I, thank you Lieutenant," said Mark looking to Aly.

With that, she turned and headed down to her office to get back to work.
