In proper uniform attire and hating every moment of it she couldn't move. She was up at the nurses station working on chart notes again truly wondering how confusing it was for the medical staff to tell a patient from the medical staff. Even in a triage situation you'll be able to tell whose medical and not.

"If you have time lieutenant I've got a ensign in bed 3 that I need signed off." Vance Calder a medical cadet had just finished up with a simple 1st degree burn. "Just a simple 1st degree burn but burn cream on after a quick dermal regen of her tissue."

Nanee set down the chart she was working on and looked at the petty officer. "May I see the chart?" Vance nodded and handed the chart over. Nanee quickly looked over the scans and the notes made by the petty officer. "Alright let's go see your handy-work." The petty officer led Nanee to the bio bed where the ensign sat.

"Ensign this is lieutenant Nanee Quoicho she's gonna sign off on my work." The young cadet said. Before he did anything he explained that all of his work needed to be checked by a senior officer. As the cadet spoke she started to check out his handy work. Nodding she was impressed by the cadet.

"Any tenderness?" Nanee asked looking at the ensign. The ensign just shook her head no. "Good good and I'm sure the cadet here explained it'll be red for a few days as the deeper tissue continues to heal and that you need to put this ointment on 3 times a day for at least 2 weeks."

"Yes he did." The ensign said giving the cadet a small smirk. "Well there be tenderness later on?" She asked. Nanee nodded to the cadet to answer this one as it was still his patient.

"You'll have some slight tenderness or even stiffness as it continues to heal. But that ointment well help reduce the tenderness and stiffness." Vance said with a small smile. "So you're free if you've anymore questions please come back and any one of the physician mates can help you or they can get a doctor for you." After the ensign left they both headed back to the nurses station. "So how did I do?"

"You did well. Your scans were in-depth, your work with the dermal regenerator was flawless. And you kept the patient calm informed her on everything she needed to know for post-op care and answered all her questions with ease and didn't complicate your answers with medical jargon." Nanee said signing off on the PaDD.

"Thank you ma'am." Vance said looking over the chart knowing that the signature allowed him to hand in the chart but he wanted to go over it one last time. Nanee watched the young cadet head off remembering how completely opposite she was when she arrived to Zetari as a young ensign.
