Hans was excited to be on his new assignment as Chief Tactical Officer. He wasn't sure how his shipmates were going to except him or his gills, Yeah knew he had a choice back then however the choice was either a jail sentence on a peinail colony or Starfleet R&R section for a science experience. He took the later one so how cares if he one of 12 subjects that can breath under water or in a less then 4% oxygen enrich enviroment?

As he stretch his uniform he made careful messures so that he was well hydrated for his reporting to the XO. He didn't want to shock people that his gills are on his upper ribs of both sides, so his his uniform is a little different it has a mesh material over his external breathing organs that help him a lot. Hans was wondering on how many questions the CMO. Was going to ask," Can't wait for that one? "

Now all he had to do was find his Officer's quarters and unpack his duffle and then report to the XO. Hans was also that informed that he could swim in a holodeck room programmed for any ocean that he wanted. He was just wondering if he could find some real water for he special case. As Hans made way to the XO's Officer he saw just how big his new ship was and he was very proud to be on board.

Hans pushed the chime button on his destinations door.... Lieutenant Von Heymann ready for duty.
