"Lieutenant Commander Hunter to Commander Dhej," Adrianna greeted her superior via her comm badge, "I delved into that research you wanted. Thought you might want to know the results."

Stepping away from the reception the First Mother had prepared, he moved into a nearby alcove and said "Dhej here. What have you found Commander?"

"I've found the main location. I'll forward this all to your PaDD. Also that the weapons owned by the Nirua people are actually very simplistic, nothing more than Earth of the back end of last century. I am however getting some readings of some very heavy, developed artillery coming a little from your North, the original location I was talking about. These weapons are highly dangerous and I recommend to proceed with caution."

"Understood"he replied, then added "Have you been able to determine any of their movements, or large concentrations of them anywhere? And in terms of dangerous, do you mean not necessarily ones that would've been developed by the Nirua?"

"In my honest opinion, I believe that these kinds of weapons are too developed for the Nirua," she replied, "I haven't noticed any unusual movement that I haven't believed to be the Nirua, however I think it would be good to investigate around the location of these weapons."

Frowning, he said "I'd like you to see if you can do perhaps a bit more ... detailed scans. Nothing that would necessarily alert the group that they are being observed, but to gain a bit more information about what we're dealing with. After we are finished with the reception, I'll beam up and we can work out a strategy." Pausing again, he added "Do you believe the away team is currently in danger?"

"Sir, the weapons I have picked up show potential of being dangerous to not only the away team," she paused a moment before answering honestly with a sigh, "I believe you could be in danger if these weapons move at all. They are certainly capable of long range shots. It is however, your call. I'll send everything through to your PaDD and meet you in your office to discuss findings on your immediate return."

Sighing, he asked "Can the sensors tell if these weapons are ground based or mobile? As in are the rouges armed with hand weapons and these larger weapons are in place to launch a more powerful attack?"

"Both, sir," Adrianna replied uneasy as she scrolled through her PaDD, " As far as I can tell though, the mobile weapons are surrounding the heavy duty stuff. Protecting it perhaps?"

Frustrated at the lack of information they had, Karim replied "Please keep monitoring the movements of the weapons, and the rouges. Keep me updated. I will speak to Barula and see if I can warn her about what is happening."

"Yes, sir," she replied. She felt a little down that she couldn't help more but the resources and so on could only tell her, "Safe travels, sir. Over and out."

Closing the com, Karim leaned against the nearby wall and sighed. This mission had gone from challenging, to downright dangerous.
