Walking out of the craft Adrianna Hunter looked around, getting her bearings and her eyes used to the light. "Let's find the captain."

Jackson hated this pulling his jacket closer and grabbing his kit, "let's just get this over with." Jackson said wondering why he agreed for coming out here on this ship.

"Starfleet prides itself in being adventurous and taking risks in finding new discoveries," Adrianna looked to Jackson, "Where's your sense of adventure?"

Karim looked up from the console he was working at when he heard the runabout approach. Exiting the vessel, he waited for Hunter to approach him so he could bring her up to speed.

The acting XO smiled over to Karim and walked over, "Afternoon captain."

Nodding, he said "Welcome to the Nirua Homeworld Commander. I hope your flight down was smooth." Gesturing for the group to follow him, he lead the way into the main compartment of the Lovelace. Taking a seat at the small table, he gestured for the others to do the same."

Hunter sat next to Dhej quietly.

Jackson remained standing, "Was told that I needed to take over triage after Nan......err I mean lieutenant Quoicho and lieutenant commander Rineheart beamed back up to the Enterprise."

Nodding, Karim replied "Well, thanks for coming Doctor. Also thank you as well Mr. Jones. I trust my request wasn't too much of a shock?"

"Not at all sir, it feels good to stretch my legs and get off the ship if i'm honest!" Gordon said, dropping his medpack onto the floor, along with his toolkit.

Jackson nodded, "if someone could show me to the wounded I can start getting to work."

After everyone was settled, Karim said "Ok, so let's get this meeting started. I'm assuming that in general, everyone has been briefed on what happened here on the planet during our first meeting with First Mother Barula. The explosion caused massive damage to the meeting site, and resulted in the death of two of her protectors. Our delegation was injured, but is recovering."

Pausing, he took a breath and added "I've recently met with Barula and offered our support. During the conversation I determined their understanding of our technology is more in depth then previously was understood. She agreed to allow us to help her people. To that end I've come up with plans on how we are going to address the situation."

Turning to Avery and he said "Doctor Avery, I would like you to meet with the healers at the Nirua medical facility. Please offer any assistance with treating their wounded, and attempt to determine if there is any psychological counselling that may be needed."

Turning his attention to Jones, he said "Ensign, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand you did some work on portable shield emitters at the Academy. Please meet with the protector group and find out if there are ways to upgrade their defensive shielding."

"Yes sir!" Gordon said, getting all his kit together.

He then turned to Hunter "As for you Commander Hunter, I'm going to leave you in charge of the mission for now. Doctor Quoicho has strongly suggested I rest after my injuries, and I'm realizing that her recommendation is a good idea. I 'm also sure there are matters back on board that may require my attention. Please meet with First Mother Barula to attempt to learn more about the rebels behind the attack. Keep me apprised of your progress." Addressing the group again "Does anyone have any questions before we get to work?"

"Understood." Jackson said checking his bag and kit again, "if I can head out now the quicker I can get there and lend a hand. With explosions they must have wounded that need surgery."

"So we are to help out here and gain intel from the chief and perhaps people," she repeated back.

Nodding, he replied "Exactly. I've advised First Mother Barula that you will be her contact while I am away. Use whatever resources are necessary."

Jackson looked at the commander as he put on his pack, "I'm gonna head for the hospital and see what help I can be."

Adrianna pulled herself up, "Let's get started then."

Nodding, Karim said "I'll see you soon Commander." After the group left, he gathered up the pads he'd been working with and moved to the centre of the runabout. Tapping his combadge he said "Dhej to Enterprise. One to beam up." Moments later he vanished in a swirl of light.
