Laying in bed she tossed in turned it had been now several months since her rather quickly as things were heating up on Zetari and getting dangerous for any non-UFP supporter.
The worst thing of her rapid departure was she couldn't say goodbye to Jayde. Jayde was one thing that was good in her life, the one thing she could always count on and the one thing that truly made her happy. But now the the thing that gave her life meaning and purpose has destroyed the thing that kept her sane, happy and the one good thing in her life after the universe decided to shit all over her.
But their was a silver lining to all of this; mind you it was a very narrow an small silver lining, but it was there. And it was a chance to start over. Not forgetting what has had happened to her but learning from it and allowing it to make her stronger. But the one thing she would never get over the loss of her child and learning she couldn't have anymore.
After a couple more turns Nanee gave up on sleep for the time being. Sliding out of bed wearing just a white cotton tank and white lace panties. She patted out to the small living area picking up a PaDD that had a medical chart on one of her post-op patients. Sighing she knew she needed to get these notes done before next shift.
She stood again and replicated a cup of Drava tea and a Angosian sweet-spice muffin. Pushing the PaDD out of the way she slowly picked at the muffin taking small bites. Again letting her mind wander back to Zetari. For her it was home much more than Trill ever was. Hell she was about to start a family and a freak bug bite destroyed that for all eternity. Okay that last part was a bit dramatic seeing as she could adopt if she wanted to.
Sitting back she crossed her legs underneath her as she sipped on her tea. Picking up the PaDD figuring that she was up why not get some work done. Making some notes on the patient who had a damage rotator cuff and some other injuries in her shoulder. Her recovery time was gonna be long and painful and lot of PT just to get her shoulder to function at the bare minimum.
But at the same time the crewmen was lucky to be alive. So there was that. The next patient was named Janna her post-op was much more simple. She had a simple splenectomy and luckily it went off without any complications. Her chart notes were simple keep a eye on urine output and if there was any blood in her urine.
It didn't take long to wrap up the rest of the patients looking at her muffin which was more smashed than a muffin anymore. And her tea was cold. Sighing she stood up and looking at the chronometer she figured she should try and at least get some sleep before her next shift. She she headed back to bed hoping for some sleep whether it was peaceful or not.
