Mission: Suicidal Running Title

=*=Chief of Security's Officer=*=

With the CMO having been under lock and key safe in the brig for a day now Mark decided to speak with the Chief of Security and get her take on the topic. Mark hit the chime and waited for a response from within.

The response didn't come from within, but from outside as Alyssa made her way back from checking on the people within the brig. More so the two guys who where getting restless. It was that, that had Aly even more confused. The arrival of Scarlet had not gone unnoticed to them and she wasn't sure if it was simply the fact of a woman in the brig or if there was more behind it. "Door open" She said as she walked up along side the Captain.

"Ah Chief," said Mark noticing the Aly coming from the Cell Block. "How is everyone holding up?" he asked as he stepped into the office behind Alyssa.

"I'm not sure.... " Aly said with a look over to the Captain as she moved around her desk and tapped in a few things on her monitor to bring up the recent records she'd been keeping on the two men. "The doctor though seems to be resting fine. I plan on talking to her later."

"Yes, well I did want to speak with you about that," said Mark looking to Aly. "Perhaps for this first round I should speak with her, I know with your altercation things would get touchy quickly between you two. I am sorry I moved so swiftly to have her confined. I did not feel safe with having her have the run of the ship..." said Mark trailing off.

"That's your choice of course Captain. Although I would like to at least have an officer nearby? Your safety is always my first concern." She said, her concern showing to him. "She told me when I was bringing her down here that she had things to tell me about Thelin."

"First round of conversation I will do alone," said Mark looking to Aly. "There shouldn't be any harm in that. What sort of things about Thelin?" he asked as his ears perked up.

Alyssa simply gave a nod of her head when it came to his orders to speak with the Doctor alone. "I don't know Sir, I was trying to let her rest a bit before speaking with her about him. It just seemed odd that suddenly she wants to talk to me about what I tried to speak with her about before hand."

"I will speak with her and let her know she will be remaining in the brig until we can sort this whole matter out," said Mark. "After that you can speak with her about Thelin. I find it interesting... As if she knows her ship is sinking and to attempt to save herself she may give up Thelin in the process..." said Mark speculating wildly out loud.

Softly, more to herself than to Mark, she murmured. "That's kind of what I was thinking myself." Still standing, she leaned against the desk some as she watched the Captain.

"I have to much information against her to let her go at the present," said Mark looking to Aly. "Her words may be one thing, but when she started to throw deeming senior officers unfit and she slipping away from you on the station? Doesn't look good to me."

"Understandable Sir." Aly said with a slight nod of her head.

"I will go speak with her, if that is alright? I will ask that you keep an eye on the monitor, just in case," said Mark.

"You don't have to ask me Captain, but yes... I would feel a bit more comfortable being able to keep an eye on you... even if it's though the monitor." Alyssa said as she flipped the monitor on.

"Alright, well into the fires of hell," said Mark calmly.

Aly watched him walk out before she turned to her monitor to take watch there.
