Mission: Suicidal Running Title

=*=Captain's Ready Room=*=

Acting Captain Mark Rhodes stood in his office pacing back and forth reading over a PaDD of information. The office was silent other then the scuff of his boots on carpeted deck plate. Ever since the situation had happened on station Mark had been on edge. He knew anyone could be out to get them at this point. Without warning the silence was broken by a comm chirp. He paused his pacing and hit is comm. "Rhodes here."

"Captain," started the bridge Ops officer out of tradition. "The bodies of the security staff have been taken aboard and transferred to the morgue. Also the medical supplies we were waiting for have been delivered and are being moved to Cargo Bay 2 until the Chief of Medicine can inspect and transfer to Sickbay."

"Understood," said Mark cutting the channel. He placed the PaDD on his desk and exited his office onto the bridge. The duty officer who was seated keeping watch in the Captain's chair stood up and moved off for Mark to take his seat. Sitting in the big chair still felt somewhat foreign to Mark but he was looking to change that feeling and feel a little more at home before long.

Mark took his seat and hit the ship wide transmission comm panel on his arm terminal. "All decks, this is Captain Rhodes. Prepare for immediate departure." He closed the channel. "Helm, take us out," he called.

After a few seconds of watching the female helm officer work the ship began to pull away from the station, "Moorings retracted, Captain. Dock Control reports ready -- thrusters fired, separating from Bimi Station."

Within a few moments of following the exit course provided by Bimi Flight Control they were outside of the station sphere of influence.

"Helm, plot a course: 206 mark 098. Engage at warp 7," ordered Mark. Mark had done some research and poured over the new star charts Cmdr Dhej was able to acquire. He picked a quiet corner of the quadrant to lay low for the time being and settling things down after their run in at Bimi Station.

Mark signaled the duty officer to the bridge and waited for his relief to come to the bridge. Once there, Mark stood up and went back into his office. He had a few things he needed to take care of before conducting some meetings with members of the senior staff.
