Ricky finally made it to the captain's ready room with vague orders of his transfer. With things still such a mess things like transfer orders kinda mute points. The way he saw it this commander Ayyn'vida had quite a bit of pull so this should be somewhat within regs.

Mark sat in his office, looking over the reports from The Dame and all the work she had been doing on Enterprise and the Aquarius. "Come," he called out to his door hearing the chime call to him.

"Lieutenant Ricky Alessandro reporting for duty." Ricky said coming to attention and setting a PaDD on Rhodes desk.

"I have heard your name... and I suppose read it somewhere," said Mark rubbing his temples. "Forgive me, which department again?"

"Former chief StratOps/2XO of Zetari hoping to make my transfer official into your security department." Ricky said remaining at a crisp 'at attention' stance.

"Have a seat Lieutenant," said Mark pointing to a seat. "Zetari? You leave that great big ole station for our little itty piece of paradise."

Ricky took a seat, "would you like the honest answer or the a manufactured one?" Ricky asked, "'cause I can give you both."

"Dont hold your words Lieutenant," said Mark.

"Frankly a lot of bad memories, not a lot of room for growth on the station and truthfully I could be stuck behind a desk anymore." Ricky said looking at the acting captain.

"You will find sometimes a quiet desk job is as enjoyable as getting your hands dirty," said Mark. "Well welcome aboard Lieutenant. I am sure the Chief of Security will enjoy your company, she always enjoys new people to beat up-I mean to say, work with," he said with a cunningly wide smile.

Ricky smirked, "I know the chief, we went through the academy together, we just took very very different career paths to get to where we're today."

"Indeed," said Mark. "Its funny how people can end up in situations where they never thought themselves possible," said Mark remarking on the security officers story, and on his own. "Well good luck Lieutenant, and welcome aboard."

"Thank you sir, and it's a pleasure to be able to be given this opportunity to serve on the Enterprise." Ricky said with a quick salute as he stood and walked out of the captain's ready room.

Mark nodded as the Lieutenant went to get straight to work.
