Mark sat in his office fuming. "Lieutenant Lucas, to my ready room. Now," he contacted her pacing his office.

Groaning softly as she handed her phaser over to Lieutenant Bowman. "Guess it's time to go face the music." Aly said before she turned and jogged off. She knew this was coming, had been expecting it as she made her way to the Captains ready room.

Standing outside, she took a deep breath before she stepped into the room and went to attention. "Lieutenant Lucas reporting, Captain."

"Lieutenant," said Mark continuing to pace. "Have a seat." There was a moment of silence as she found her seat. "I am going to be pretty forward here. What happened on that station?"

Sitting down, she stayed alert to the man before her. She knew he didn't want all the details, knew what he was after and she took a deep breath. "I screwed up, Sir. She sent me off for something, and by the time I returned. She was gone. I tried to find her, but couldn't. I assumed she'd knew that she wasn't supposed to be on the Station without me, per your orders and had gone back to the Ship."

"She sent you off? She sent you off?!?" said Mark raising his voice when he repeated it. "I don't give a damn if she needed a bandaid, you don't leave her. So are you telling me she told you to go on some menial task to get rid of you? Because if that is the case, this is a serious situation."

"I'm aware of that Captain, I shouldn't had left her, I know. I let her threats get to me more than I should have. Don't worry Sir. I won't let that happen again." Alyssa did well at keeping her anger at the situation under control for now. "Yes Sir, seems she wanted some space from me."

"Threats?" paused Mark looking to Alyssa. "Elaborate..." said Mark looking to the Lieutenant.

"We had a slight altercation when I tried to question her about something the morning of the briefing. And she threatened to have me declared unfit for duty if I ever pissed her off again. I let it get to me a little more than I should have. That's still no excuse though Sir, as I was reminded of that earlier."

"She threatened to have you deemed unfit," said Mark thinking aloud. "What were your thoughts? You mentioned questions. What was your theory?" said Mark dropping into his chair.

Great, now the new Captain was going to think she'd lost her ever loving mind. "She's been spending a lot of time with Lieutenant Thelin and after what happened with the previous Captain and the Lieutenant having only gotten slight injuries. I've been concerned. So questioned her about those things. She claims to have talked to Intel, but basically told me I needed to keep my nose out of it or I would do more harm to this ship."

"'Keep your nose out of it,'" said Mark looking to his Chief of Security. "This sounds like something that should have been brought to my attention sooner then this moment. So you are telling me you got into an argument with Dr. Rogers and she threatened to deem you unfit if you didn't 'keep your nose out of it'. She has threatened me personally with the same thing, 'deem me medically unfit.' Then while you two are on station a foreign port, she ordered you off and she ended up getting injured because of it. As a former police officer, does something sound a little off here?"

"It was more she threatened to deem me unfit if I pissed her off again." Alyssa paused a moment to think about the Captains words. Especially as she didn't want to be accused of using her position in a bad way.

"A lot of things seem off with her Captain, even more so with some of what she'd told me in the confrontation. An innocent person, normally, would simply answer questions, not get as upset and angry as she did. Especially for a Doctor, one would not think they would resort to violence like she chose to."

"I think we may need to have a discussion with Doctor Rogers. I hope she isn't a traitor, but I don't want to take the risk. Can you spare a few officers for a security detail until she can be moved to the brig? I want her taken into custody until we get a chance to talk to her. I don't want to risk it," said Mark.

"Aye Captain, I'll make sure to assign some to keep watch over her." Aly replied, knowing this was going to go over like a lead balloon.

"Give me two men, I will meet them en route. I would like to get this done sooner, rather then later," said Mark standing up. "Thank you Lieutenant. Dismissed."

"Aye Sir." Alyssa said before rising and moving swiftly off to take care of the things. A hand reaching to tap her badge to contact a couple of the Ensigns as she went.
