Acting Captain Mark Rhodes finished pouring over information and decided to finally talk to Lt Lucas. "Lt Lucas, can you join me in my ready room?"

"Aye Captain" Aly responded before turning off her monitor and getting up. She'd needed a break anyways to stretch her legs. Rising, she spoke a moment to one of the other officers before she turned to jog her way up to the Bridge. Reaching there, she moved to the side where Mark's ready room was and rang the chime.

"Come," said Mark.

"Ah, yes Lieutenant," said Mark. "Have a seat please." He gestured towards a chair in front of his desk.

She was a bit calmer than she had been the last time she was here. So with fluid ease she moved on around and took a seat. Her gaze never leaving the Captain, nor did her position lax any.

"I have something to talk to you about," said Mark. "As you know I disciplined Lieutenant Rogers of her misdoings. But she is not the only one at fault. Disciplinary actions were pending against you as well. Due to your altercation with Doctor Rogers you will have an official reprimand placed in your file regarding the incident. Second, you will see your next promotion after an additional 3 month probation period after it is decided you are to receive that promotion. Lastly, you will spend the next week confined to your quarters when you are not on duty, you are not permitted to have visitors either. I am sorry to do this Lieutenant, but certain actions carry certain consequences," said Mark.

Alyssa was quiet for a moment as she took it all in before giving a subtle nod of her head. "No need to be sorry Captain. I had actually been expecting this to come. Having had time to think things over myself I realize I should have handled the situation with the Doctor differently. You have your job to do, and won't hear me complain about this." She said with a slight smile.

"Thank you Lieutenant," said Mark. "I am glad that you understand we all have someone we are accountable to."

"Welcome, Sir. I'm an officer and need to remember to act like one.... I just need to remind myself that extra steps are sometimes needed when dealing with you higher ranked officers." She said respectfully.

"Indeed," said Mark. "Both of you did not realize what you were getting yourselves into."

"Aye.. is there anything else Captain?" Alyssa asked as she looked warmly to Mark.

"Not that I can think of," said Mark. "That is all I have for you."

Rising, she gave a respectful nod of her head. "Then I shall take my leave, we likely both have work to do." Turning, she headed out and back down to her office.
