Nanee was in her new office still flabbergasted how she had got it, but even more with what the hell was happening on this outpost. "Ma'am here's the autopsy report." One of the physician mates said setting a report down on the desk.

"Thank you petty officer." Nanee said setting down her tea and picking up the report. Cause of death was extreme damage to tissue, which caused severe damage to the heart and lungs, "such a terrible terrible way to die." Nanee said shaking head as she looked at the images of the entrance wounds, weirdly enough no exit wounds.

Which than explained why the 'origin of weapon' space had unknown written in it. But the description was also intriguing; the weapon had to be low enough power to not cause a exit wound, but powerful enough to cause severe damage to both heart and lungs. Sending a memo to both the XO and chief security Nanee sat back to await their arrival.

Karim was in his office when he received the notification from Quoicho. Acknowledging the memo, he quickly made his way to Sickbay. Walking in he said "I received your message Doctor, what did you find out?"

Alyssa stepped in a couple seconds behind Karim, quiet and with a PaDD in her hand, she looked to the Doctor with a cant of her head that sent red tresses cascading off her shoulder.

"That depends on what the security chief can tell me." Nanee said sliding the autopsy report over to her. "Do you know of any weapons that can do this?"

Aly took the offered PaDD and skimmed though the report, a brow quirked upwards as she reread a couple things. "This would have had to been a disruptor based weapon." Handing the report back over she looked between the two. "Those aren't one's normal pieces of weapons."

Raising an eyebrow in a Vulcan-like fashion, Karim replied "Then if they aren't 'normal' kinds of weapons, what are they? Two of our officers are dead, and I want to know why."

Nanee tapped a few buttons on the PaDD and slid it back to Alyssa, "Could it be similar to the Jem'Hadar porlon based weapons? From Starfleet RnD says they've a high enough frequency with using very low amount of power output."

"And that... Commander. Is why I said they aren't normal. It's rare that we see those types of weapons." Aly said with a nod at Nanee. Of course now her mind was pondering the rareness of the weapons and the rareness of the item she'd helped Nanee get. A look was shot towards the Doctor now before she pushed those thoughts off for the moment.

Shaking his head, Karim replied "I'm sorry if I sound confused, but obviously whoever kidnapped Rogers and th'Zarath and killed our officers was a professional. Not some run of the mill vigilante." Turning to Lucas he said "You said those weapons were rare Lieutenant, if you were to speculate, where could one find them if they had to?"

"Commander I have some contacts that I think could get this done much faster. No offense to the lieutenant, and with us no longer at the station I believe my contacts might be the better route." Nanee said giving a wink to Alyssa to make sure she stayed after the meeting.

"Not to many places normally, commander. But, perhaps you will let the doctor and I do some working on this mess. Between her contacts and mine we should be able to come up with some answers." She said with a nod to Nanee to let her know she got the hint.

Nanee just waited to see if the commander would agree to this and was confused of why the commander didn't have more questions about why a medical officers would have these kinds of contacts in the first place.

Frowning slightly Karim knew they were hiding something, but he wanted to get to the bottom of the situation. Sighing, he said "Fine, do what you do need to do, but do it quickly. We've left the station, and I'm eager to put this behind us if we can. Let me know when you've made progress. Understood?"

"Aye, Commander." Alyssa said as she looked to Karim. A fleeting hint of worry crossed her features fleetingly as her mind went to her main contact and the fact that he was currently unreachable.
