Nanee was sitting in her office talking with her civilian surgeon Jackson Avery, "for right now Mr Sh'eik is no need for surgery but his kidney's took one hell of a beating due to his situation." Jackson said sliding Sh'eik's chart over to Nanee. Anne just nodded looking over Jackson's recommendations nodding she signed off on them.

"We'll discharge him this afternoon," Nanee said setting the PaDD aside and looking at Jackson, "now onto the matter how you treated officers of this ship." Nanee said looking at Jackson, "you know you can't act like you did when you were dealing with the bio-bed situation, right?"

Jackson just smirked, "I do and my apologies for the way I behaved but....." Jackson didn't even finish not after seeing the look that Nanee was giving him, "never again well I behave the way I did."

"Good." Nanee was glad the was over with she hated doing disciplinary stuff. "Now next agenda your research. With the civil war over Starfleet Medical has been sending message after message wanting to know when they'll be getting new data?" Sighing Jackson looked at Nanee but before he could speak a physician mate poked his head in.

"Ma'am we've got a new department head here for a physical." The physician mate said knowing that Nanee always did physicals for the command team and department heads. Nodding Nanee stood up and headed for the door.

"We'll pick this up later." With that she headed out to the bed where the officer was waiting, "lieutenant sh'Thrass?"

Zhyalla looked up as the Trill doctor approached and smiled politely. After finishing the tasks given to her by Commander Dhej, she'd swung through her quarters to get out of her uniform, then figured she'd be best off getting the customary first physical out of the way. So she sat there in a slate grey wrap dress with embroidery on the hem, neckline, and cuffs, and suede knee high boots kicking softly as her feet failed to reach the floor.

"That's me," she answered with a quick nod. "How're you today, Doc?"

"Long," Nanee said looking at the female Andorian as she pulled out her CPaDD and started looking for her chart, "hrmmm.....seems your not in the Enterprise's database. Did you just arrive?"

"Earlier today, with the supply ship," she affirmed, holding onto the edge of the bed as she tried to lean forward to get a look at the PADD in the doctor's hand.

Nodding she clicked a couple of buttons on her PaDD as she pulled up a new chart. "Can I get your full name, rank, position and date of birth." Nanee said knowing that this part of the physical was the worst for both doctor and patient especially if they just arrived on assignment.

"Zhyalla sh'Thrass, Lieutenant, Chief Helm, stardate 238305.08," Zhyalla listed off with a twitch of her antennae. It's not the doctor's fault her records were slow to arrive, but it still seemed so silly to have to go through this every time unless she waited a few days to come in for her physical after a transfer.

"Thank you. I know this isn't what you would like to be doing but sooner we get it done the more time you can spend doing something else." Nanee said giving her a small smile, "now I just need any medications you're taking; if any, any history of cancer, issues with heart, lungs, kidneys or livers and other diseases like that."

"No meds. No history — family or personal — of cancer, and everything was in normal working order last I was checked, other than the reproductive organs... but that was apparently a genetic defect of some sort?" Zhyalla shrugged. "Found that out with my initial med exam for the fleet. Don't remember the specifics because it's something I'm not really inclined to have fixed." She rolled her eyes.

Making note of everything that was said she finally looked up, "alright first we'll get the full body scan out of the way and we'll end with drawing some blood. Do you have any concerns or have noticed anything weird that your body is doing?"

"Everything's been normal," she returned with a nod at the body scan and blood drawing.

"Good, now if you could just lie down and I'll start the scan." Nanee said walking to the end of the bed and clicked a few more buttons getting the scan ready and making sure her CPaDD had a clear signal. "Okay the scan well take approximately 2 minuets."

Zhyalla gripped the edge of the bed, and slid backwards so she could turn and lay down. She wasn't exactly a fan of the biobed's confined space, which she'd never quite understood since she loved the cramped quarters of a fighter cockpit... so it wasn't claustrophobia. She didn't find herself in this position often, so it wasn't worth worrying about.

"Ready when you are," she directed at the doctor as she finished laying down.

Clicking the start button Nanee waited a few before refreshing her PaDD and making sure the data from the scan was transferring. She also made a quick check on where the lieutenant's medical files were and would she need to speak with someone to get things moving. "Alright the scan is all done all that's left is the blood draw. You may sit up." Nanee added as she got a hypospray and a several vials ready.

Zhyalla moved to sitting up on the edge of the bed almost as the words finished leaving the doctor's lips. She hated the biobed, hated lying still in it, and was always eager to sit back up as soon as she could. She pulled the loose lightweight fabric of the sleeve of her dress up her arm, exposing her blue skin. Most doctors liked to press the hypo directly to the skin to draw blood, and the arm seemed the most reasonable place, but each doctor had their own preference so Zhyalla was fully prepared to be wrong. Her eyes rested on the number of vials being pulled, counting them as they awaited her blue blood.

Putting one of the vials into the hypospray she pushed it against her blue skin right on top of a strong vein. Once the first vial filled she pulled sit out slowly and carefully to make sure to not move the hypospray too much. She repeated this for the next three vials, "alright you're free to go unless you've remember something that we should add to your chart."

"Thanks Doc," Zhyalla answered, hopping off the bed with a grin. "That was probably the most efficient first exam on a ship I've ever gotten," she added as she started towards the door.

"My pleasure," Nanee said giving a small smile to the Andorian women, "we'll call you if we find anything in the scans and blood. Have a good rest of the day lieutenant."

"You too, Doc," Zhyalla returned, and headed out the door.
