Adrianna Hunter had been acting executive officer now for a few weeks, and it was time she checked in with the shrink to assure the counsellor Adrianna was settled there. Being ex security, she wasn't a massive fan of shrinks, but then who was? Now that Hunter was no longer a security officer, she felt less nervous about seeing a counsellor. Knocking on the door frame Adrian smiled at the counsellor, "sh'Chavah."

"Commander please come in and take a seat. Would you care for a drink?" Stahma said looking up where she heard the voice and sensing the aura of the commander. Which was a soft orange letting her know that was very balanced at the moment.

"I'll have a glass of iced water please," the woman replied and sat down.

Sending a memo to one of the physician mates to grab some ice water and a Bajoran sweet tea Stahma closed her computer, "what can I do for you commander?" She asked as the drinks were brought in.

"Just checking in," Hunter replied with ease.

Stahma nodded, "well it's been an interesting start to my tour aboard this ship. The chief has taken a weird liking to me I've been helping her with some of the administrative work."

Adrian smiled, "Seems like everyone is getting along so far. It's nice to see."

"It appears so but time well only tell how long it'll last. You gotta remember even though this is a large ship it's still a ship which means we're very very confined of where we can go. Which can lead to cabin fever, people getting on each others nerves and things like that hence why the counseling department exists." Stahma said with a smile.

"Cabin fever also means entertainment in the lounge though," Adrian chuckled softly as she recalled breaking up a few girl fights by some very manly men on her last ship.

Stahma smirked, "well as entertaining as breaking up cat fights is; is that the correct saying, it can lead to some very dangerous after math."

The smile the acting executive officer had was a response in itself, but she spoke freely, "I think that it can only lead to dangerous aftermath if we were children."

Stahma nodded blinking her milky white eyes, "I think you're underestimating the power that words have on people and that even as adults we tend to revert back to our child-like emotions when we don't know how to handle things or when we're overwhelmed."

"You also misunderstand me," Adrian defended a little, "I mean that people on board this ship, you tend to find they value their jobs more than would eachother. It's only if they lose sight of why they are here that it becomes a big issue."

Stahma smiled and nodded, "fair enough and I agree that members of Starfleet do value their jobs than each other. But at the same time they need to trust each other which means that they must value each other just as equally."

She just shrugged in response, "So I see you're well settled. I'm well settled, well, still getting into routine since my son seems to not be settling much. He's barely a year old though, so he'll learn eventually."

"Well if you need any help with getting your son settled we're always here to help." Stahma said giving the commander a nod.

"Not sure if you can shrink an eleven month old," Adrian chuckled, "But thank you."

Chuckling slightly, "I meant more for you." Stahma said giving her a smile.

"I'll be fine," she chuckled, "I have a rubber mallet."

Stahma didn't quite understand that one but nodded and smiled anyways. "We're always here if you just need to talk or just need to talk to an adult."

"I'm sure I'll be fine, thank you. I have enough to keep my mind occupied as a single mother, but I'm sure you already knew that about me," Adrianna stood up and went to leave.
