Mission: Where no man has gone before.

=*= Main Engineering =*=

Lieutenant Commander Mark Rhodes was standing at the main terminal in Main Engineering looking over the ship systems. He was checking and double checking ship systems to ensure they were fully functional. When they departed McKinley Station they were at 83% online but the remaining 17% were considered nonessential and they can finish them on the move, which is what they had done.

He was checking green light status on everything from the main terminal. Everything was proving to be good except the Phased Disruptor Beam Weapon Grid, which he hasn't taken the time to check on yet. He knew his next course of action was to get in contact with the Chief of Operations and the Chief Tactical Officer.

Putting that on his list of things to do tomorrow morning first thing, as he continued to check ship systems. They were now reporting 98% complete. With his shift coming to an end he found a good stopping place and retreated into his office.

Dropping into his desk chair he took a deep long breath, collecting his thoughts for the moment. He then flicked his terminal on and started to pull up the schematics to his quarters, to be built right across the archway from Main Engineering.

He made the last few modifications and sent it off to a construction crew to be built. Mark had been living out his office, except to shower, which he had been doing in his quarters. Mark was now motivated to get his quarters done because he wanted a place to call his own and living out of his office was making like stale. He realized he needed a place to get away from Main Engineering while he was off duty.

After he sent his he pulled up the status report of the USS Aquarius. The Warp Core had been brought online and it was ready to be tested. He was going to have to speak to Command about having the ship tested before long.

Switching back to Enterprise ship systems he started to double check things again, for a fifth or sixth time now, and eventually drifted off to sleep in his office chair.
