Mission: Reconstruction and Refocus
Location: Lounge
Timeline: 241710.20

Shakkar had some time before his next appointment and really didn't feel like looking at another padd. He knew that he would have to look at them again eventually, but was getting a headache at the thought of it. Headaches always made him a little cranky, which is aa bad way to handle counseling duties. He sighed. He rand through a couple easy ones. Ones where he just had to sign off on. He narrowed the rest into appointments for the following day. He checked his chronometer. He found that it read 1100. "Still have a little time. Think I'll pop on down to the lounge." he said.

His motive was twofold. One being simple, just to get out of his office for a while. Two for to do his job better.

Pim was behind the bar which was odd most of her time was either in the back or at one of the booths. She was gingerly sipping on one of her original concoctions. Looking over some coded data and sighing unable to decrypt it. Upside was she was impressed with Starfleet's layering encryption.

Shakkar entered the lounge and took a deep breath. In so doing his stress just kind of melted away. He made a mental note to come by there mor often as he grabbed himself a seat at the bar.

Nice thing about the self-ordering was that it was self-ordering. Pim looked up once just to see who came in. Noticing that it wasn't the captain or the executive officer she went back to looking at the encrypted data.

Shakkar pulled up the food and drink menu. Bored a little in the culinary department he decided on something a little out side the lines for him. He punched in the commands for a cherry cola and cheeseburger and turned to just take in the scenery.

A waitress walked out of the back carrying the mans orders. The outfits were simple. Either black leather pants, shorts or skirt with a black t-shirt or tank. "Here you are sir." The women said who had chosen the shorts and tank choice. Pim watched the counselor with interest now. Not a fan of them but they have had proved useful. Closing down her hand terminal Pim left behind the bar and walked over to his table. Taking a seat as she just started at him.

Shakkar was looking at the sight of the nebula when he noticed that he had a guest. "Well, hello." he said.

Taking a sip of her drink Pim continued to stare study the man in front of her. Her fingers on her left hand drummed on the pair of distressed black pencil jeans she was wearing. “Do you enjoy puzzles?” Pim finally asked.

"From time to time." Shakkar replied.

Leaning back Pim sipped on her drink considering her options. Tapping a few buttons locking everything but a picture of a man. "Profile this man?"

Shakkar smiled. He appreciated the opportunity to flex a muscle he had neglected since academy days. He started to latch on the one thought that was hitting his brain at that time "Hmm." he said. "Doesn't look like a trustworthy soul." he thought out loud.

Pim wasn't impressed seeing as anyone could pick that up. "I need more to be impressed.' Pim said simply.

"Just a stray thought. I haven't done this since the academy." He said, he sipped his cola. "He'd have his fingers in multiple pies. Sort of a jack of many shifty trades. But in a way, indispensable to the people who he may have conned in the past. Better?"

Pim has never met the man. Truth be told she has never met any of her clients which was for the best. But from what she has heard about him that seemed about right. Minus the conman he was more of a fixer and oddly enough drug dealer. "Better. But still missing something."

"Hmm." Shakkar replied, taking a bite of burger. Swallowing before speaking he added. "From just the picture. He seems like a guy would probably also use blakmail as a weapon in his arsenal."

Pim was impressed as much as profiling was a science it was also just people being able to read people. You can pass all the tests you want but if you didn’t have the skills to read people all those skills that you learned in the classroom won’t help you. Standing up picking up her drink and hand terminal. “Thank you.” And Pim was gone back behind the bar.

"Anytime." He said, slightly puzzled. He shrugged it off and got on with his meal. He made a mental note to refresh his profiling knowledge.
